Pros

Company Car and Gas Card. Manage your own time full benefits fun environment helping others lots of apps to teach you about the product.

Cons

Low pay, poor management, lots of unqualified channel leads. Paid on instal which can take months or will never happen. No overtime pay but your expected to work 6 days a week to be successful and even then you're still not getting paid high commissions.

Pros

They hired a lot of top sales people from different industries. Which is why they grew so fast. So you can learn a lot for your fellow co workers. Its a tech company feel, they have an arcade machine, free soda, coffee, snacks pretty much anything that will make you fat. lol Haynes Barnard is the leader of the sales department, He is very motivating, awesome speaker and a type of person you would follow. He's a type of person that I would pay to see his seminars.

Cons

After all the great things i said about Haynes thats where the leadership stops. He is located in the San Jose area so he not around our office much. Don't get me wrong we have some good leaders but its a hit or miss because of all the promotions that happened in the past year. Most of those who got promoted was promoted because of seniority. They may have been great in sales but not as management.. Salary is very low compared to other companies. Commission is about average. At first people here was making money but recently there had been major changes because of so much growth that it feels SolarCity bubble has popped. The way they distributes leads had dropped dramatically. Some people have not received a lead for the bast 2 months! Thats hard to make a living if most of your money is earned by sales. They put you in this "Sales Queue" that is completely flawed. The Queue is suppose to dictate on how much leads your are able to get based on your closing % but they keep on changing the rules almost monthly because it doesn't work so its hard to really stay on track. You can literally be in the best "Queue" one week, receive leads every day then never see a lead the next 3-4 weeks. If you drop in the Sales Queue good luck getting out. The Sales Queue is the biggest reason people quit. Before you can make money through marketing and referrals leads but now the only way you can make money is by referrals. So the flawed sales queue pretty much cut some peoples salary in half! You also don't get paid any commission till the system gets installed which can take about 3- 5 months.

Pros

Amazing company with a great vision.

Cons

East Coast operation has a very large disconnect culture wise from West Coast operation. The one time amazing culture has been destroyed by management hires and the way the employees are treated and talk down too. Consultants with great work ethic and leadership get over looked for promotion by the old boys club.
