      Cutting edge technology company that is making a concerted effort to help improve the environment for future generations. The value SolarCity offers its customers is unparalleled with any product I have ever seen.

      Very fast moving company/industry which requires constant updating and adjusting.

      Pros

      One of the best things about working for SoalrCity is that they have a very team oriented culture where you can always find someone who is willing to help when you have a question or problem.

      Cons

      Due to their rapid growth they often rely on temp workers or workers who do not have a sufficient amount of experience to perform the functions of their position. This creates a lot of problems and wasted time correcting the problems that arise. On department in particular where this has been a problem is in accounting and has delayed payments to vendors sometimes for several months-this is not good for business.

      Pros

      It's not often you can find THE industry leader (by a staggering margin), a public company (with stock rising), yet still feel and see constant improvement, expansion, and growth. Salary, benefits, commission, company car, etc. I'm not a overly "green" guy. I don't work at SolarCity so that I can "save the world." I work here because it's a GREAT product that EVERYONE uses/needs, the finished product is fun to be a part of, and you can make good money doing it.

      Cons

      Really large executive team. Very demanding job (appointment based sales).
