      Pros

      I love that I have so many opportunities to grow here. In less the one year, I've become a Senior Documentation Verifier. Everyone is always striving for the better and everyone's a TEAM here at SolarCity.

      Cons

      There are a lot of changes here at SolarCity which I love but sometimes, we just jump into things without getting much training or information.

      Very positive working environment

      Pros

      Having worked for a number of start up companies as well as Fortune 500 Engineering firms this is the best working environment that I have seen. The avg. age of employees is in mid 20s to mid 30s. It has a very positive vibe. My coworkers and the people around me are genuinly happy to be here. I like the work flexibility as well. As long as I get my projects done my manager doesn't care what times I come in or leave.

      Cons

      The company is growing very fast, so you should be able to keep up with changes within departments. There is no 401K matching and also no incentives for furthering your education.

      We are so happy to hear that we are the leader in culture considering all the places you have worked! Our work environment and culture are a reflection of our passion and mission. We believe that a person’s best work is not necessarily produced between 9-5. Due to the nature of our business, employees do have the ability to find a schedule that allows them a degree of flexibility. Thank you for your feedback on our benefits. As SolarCity is moving from the startup phase we are taking a good look at the benefits we currently offer our employees, and which benefits we should add next.

      Great culture, hard working and smart people that are friendly and fun, passionate about energy issues, feels like a small company even though it's growing, lots of resources, benefits are nice

      Cons

      Vacation days are a bit limited, feel the need to restrict travel
