Pros
Most of the people I worked with were hardworking, honest guys. The pay was good, as a commercial installer. You are paid a good base amount, have potential for bonuses (rare, but substantial), and are given a 35$ per diem if you are away from home (which you will be).
Cons
Travel is harsh. I sometimes went full months away from home, in places 3 or more hours away. Management is wishy-washy, and can't really promise much for you. Get past the gossip and you're golden.
