      Pros

      There are no pros, the remaining staff are like the quartet on the deck of the Titanic, slowly playing as the icy waters lap at their ankles. Or this line from Ben-Hur being put above the office entrance door, "Row well and live." But the other ships are preparing to ram you.

      Cons

      In the not to distant future, when HBR is doing a case study on the detrimental impact of equity groups on salary and employee health, they will use Solera as an example of a dystopian workplace brought on by the greed and vanity of an equity group. It is not a coincidence that the main owner of Vista had to cut a deal with the IRS for tax evasion to stay out of jail. That level of ethics and morality runs within the current management group.
