When Vista took over it all went downhill and the pandemic only worsened it all. The last two years of my employment two guys in charge ran the place into the ground with micromanaging and got rid of a lot of nice things, especially the bonus money quarterly. To top it off they don't even work there anymore now I heard, one quit and other got let go finally. Anyways then the pandemic hit and the company decided to secretly change their vacation policy. That change cheated several hundreds of employees badly by not wanting to pay out vacation time they accrued if they quit or got fired or were let go. They didn't even communicate it properly and send it in an email. Instead it was secretly slid into some documents online in the HR section that none of looked at unless something was communicated to us about a change. We all found out when a co worker who retired got cheated out of his money. I had been with the company for over 20 years and lost over 200 hours of vacation time when I quit. Also during the pandemic they reduced our hours for 12 weeks and wouldn't do partial unemployment for our office with no explanation but they did it for another office no problem in another state. The manager who no longer is there claimed it was HR and HR said it was that manager's decision and to talk to them. So none of us really got any real truthful answers. Thousands of dollars more of us lost including the $600 pandemic money you could get weekly from the government for our office. None of it made any sense and still doesn't. Now I hear some employees got let go and got paid nice severances. How can you afford that but not the vacation pay? Or even let the government help your employees during the pandemic financially? That last question is the biggest mystery of all.
