Pros

- Strong, caring leadership team and great company culture until the Solera acquisition - Pay is quite good - Solid products and market share - Investment in innovation (pre-Solera)

Cons

- Solera acquisition happened 2 months ago. Things are very confusing and chaotic. Just cut 35% of US workforce with a goal offshoring even more to India as time goes on. - Solera team does not seem to value the Fleet Management assets it's just purchased and is slashing teams seemingly indiscriminately with no real vision for the future of this business.

I worked with a group of talented Engineers and through working 6 years for Omnitracs learned a lot from them. Love the culture and environment. They use to provide great benefit and compensation to their employees.

Cons

After Solera acquisition, the environment became so different and the culture became toxic. They let go of many talented individuals that used to work for Omnitracs and hire a lot of young unexperienced engineers outside of U.S.

Wonderful company with managers who TRY to care about their people. Flexible working hours (within a certain window) and good pay.

Cons

DealerSocket is now owned by Solera, and Solera seems to not care about the busy bees. They just lay people off without any consideration to their actual value not only to the company, but to their individual teams. They lay off people who they need in favor of their bottom line.
