Pros
Work from home is nice. (Thanks COVID?)
Cons
> Company regularly communicates that you are 100% replaceable / disposable > Leadership immature / condescending / petty > Unwillingness to train or provide appropriate tools > Benefits promised at hire (offer letter) removed shortly thereafter >> Vacation accrual changed to expires, revocable on a whim >> Incentive plan removed/ignored >> 401k changed from 'match' to 'maybe match, we'll see' > No raises for cost of living nor performance > Revolving door middle management - poor transitions at each change-over > Megalomaniac leadership and executive teams. Unapproachable. > Evaluations are not representative of performance, but of made-up 'metrics', of which you have little to no control > Strongly encouraged not to ask questions > Contracting key internal functions overseas (HR, IT, Accounting, Contract Admin, Dev). Very poor transition planning / implementation at each instance. As a result, many things break and need to be resolved amongst the overwhelming waves of frustrated/angry end-users.
