Pros

I’ve been at soliant for 4 years now. It has changed a lot since I’ve started, and in the best way possible. They have increased base pay, given work from home options for the people who perform, flexible schedule (come in 7-4 or 8-5), leadership growth, and the culture has become great. Big, big change from when I started! You can truly make life changing money if you put forth the effort and work hard. The people who say there is favoritism or that certain people get a “book of business” when others leave are full of it. If you perform and you get a shovel, then you get passed business from those who leave. Why would a brand new person get handed something if they haven’t proven themselves and that they are capable of being successful in this job? Work hard and it will pay off. I think that goes for any job.

Cons

It is still a little old school in my opinion, but I believe that leadership is working hard to make changes like the ones stated above. The commission structure needs to change. I think that 5% is still low. If commission changed, I think that would make the turn over rate go down because people would see that their hard work paid off when they see that commission check. Also, the morning meetings “cowbell” is unnecessary and pointless. It feels like management does it to take attendance and it is extremely repetitive. Newer people may need to be refreshed on trainings and that could be held separately. It is 2021 and people definitely performed well working remote. I don’t see why the schedule couldn’t just be hybrid for everyone or for people to have the option of working from home. It gives a better work life balance.
