Pros

They really do try to celebrate success for employees and join charities for the community

Cons

micromanaging. You get emailed 4 times a day about how many calls you make and if someone makes 100 calls they get a congratulations- even if it's cold calling through a blue book or database and most of them are wrong numbers or voicemails instead of understanding in this industry in general if you make that many calls you're not getting anyone on the phone- providers LOVE to talk and you're not building rapport with anyone if you have a ton of 1 minute phone calls.

Pros

Wonderful co-workers, great co-workers, nice janitors, decent training

Cons

The worst managers ever. The worst commission/salary. Lofty goals that can never be reached. Zero career development. No leadership, just micromanagement and petty rules that change weekly. No warnings or timeline as to termination. One day you will show up and be fired. You find office politics anywhere but it is excessive at Soliant. Managers pick favorites and rules are bent or made advantageous to the favorites in the office. Yeah there is no cap on the commission but the commission is close to impossible to accumulate. My first commission check was around $25 and I had placed two full time workers. Soliant will provide a paycheck and serve as a resume builder. Thats about it. Oh and the Christmas party is pretty good. Make sure and quit after that.

Pros

I made a couple of good friends who made my work day there a little less miserable

Cons

Where do I begin? Micromanaging that will make you feel like you’re back in elementary school. It’s 8:05am and you get a roll up from your manager asking “hey what’s your plan for today?” Well we have been here for 5 minutes and I just opened my computer! They will expect you to get a ridiculous amount of deals, fyi it’s damn near impossible to get deals in this economy and with the way the system is run here. They will basically tell you that you’re on a time limit of being fired and put you on a “plan” which give you the most stress and anxiety ever. New grads please beware. I was so miserable at this job and it is NOT normal. I finally got a new job and recently started and I realized that there are companies who respect you and understand you’re human. Soliant does not respect nor care about you. They only want you to make them money.
