Pros

Remote/hybrid work, Unlimited FTO (based on manager approval)

Cons

Uncertainty in SSD industry, compensation structure to be changed, seems very controlled by Korean company and is changing American work culture to make it more like the Korean one

Pros

There are many talented people at the company, since most of them came from Intel.

Cons

Leadership did not plan well how difficult it would be and how to execute a transition from being part of Intel to being an independent subsidiary of SK Hynix. The deal was made purely on paper, without understanding the ramifications of splitting from a company and complexities of doing so. In a perfect storm, with SSD market being down, a lot of teams weren't staffed appropriately to run as an independent entity and the company is suffering because of it.
