Pros

Great pay, good benefits. Oh yeah split wages so more than 2/3 of the plant hate you because you voted the pay rate lowered if you started before 2013. Union strong right there boys.

Cons

Extreme favoritism from office management. A lot of the office management will not take advice from the people doing the actual work and think they know how the job they have never done should be done. Change for no reason of work assignment, work areas, and job instructions by managment just to justify there obvious uneeded and pointless job. Too many chiefs trying to prove themselves and cause more harm than good. about 1/4 of workers are about to retire and some of them are bitter and petty. Have a hard time accepting that time has passed them by.

Pros

decent pay and benefits.

Cons

Management is slowly chipping away at our benefits and pay each union contract. They seem to want to micro manage the production floor thinking they know what is best for the production workers without consulting us for our option on changes that effect us on a day to day basis. Promotions based off who you know not on merit. Right now its a slow sinking ship with no sign that this plant can save itself. Much much more is wrong it would be a book. It starts at the top of management down to the production floor.
