      Pros

      good benefits, flexible hours including remote schedules depending on the nature of the job, mostly good people to work with, challenging projects, supportive management

      Cons

      Overall Solvay was a good company to work for, but things have changed in the last 4 - 5 years with constant changes and reorganizations that's made working here more stressful than ever. Solvay has also recently announced a split into two entities so employees are not sure about the future at this time.

      Good company overall but terrible local management

      Pros

      Good benefits (9% 401 match, 16 wks parental leave, etc.). Good work-life balance. Some nice, smart people to work with.

      Cons

      Terrible local leadership team filled with incompetent people without tracks records or visions (except for 1-2 good managers). Very bad morale on site with many talents leaving the company.
