Pros

There are lots of good people all over the place to meet and enjoy time with. They sell lots of nice cars and you can get a deal.

Cons

It is an old-fashioned place for management style, business practices and business ethics. Compensation ranges from fair to poor (and is getting worse). There are many bullies in this company and that mode is seen (an is) the path to power. Generally an unprofessional place. Technology is a joke.

Pros

Good job if you like cars and hate being around your family.

Cons

- On a draw from day one, so even though they may not let you sell while training, you will be on a draw. - Training consists of 1.5 days in a local dealership conference room, watching a couple of Sonic videos and watching brand videos - Old school car dealership environment - crude language, contempt of both sales reps and customers. - Too many old timers that are lost. - Lots of happy talk at the corporate level about associate satisfaction is job one, the reality is that it is hollow words - Will willing screw you out of commissions and provide no documentation of how pay is computed. - Reports are false that they submit on pay. You will easily work over 120 hours in a 2 week period, yet they will report 80 hours. Guess it doesn't matter because it is a draw and they keep you in the hole from the start. - Company is publicly traded and they provide no opportunities for stock ownership. CEO stated in a public meeting that if we want stock we should open an E-Trade account yet the guy hosting the meeting was given $10mm of stock (FU).
