Pros

now basically all remote. i guess some people consider that a "pro"? ..it WAS a great / fun work environment when it was in-office. catered food every day, fun activities. etc.. still generous benefits & time off. they used to be good about promoting from within so there was great potential to move up & that was a motivator, but seems to be the case less & less. overall best things about entry level at sonicwall is opportunity to get foot in door of a tech based company, or if you are in a position to maximize a "work from anywhere" kind of job, then go for it!

Cons

i must say management is a double edge sword. at first i really liked my manager, and the upper management as well. i was motivated to perform for them. then i switched managers and the experience working there went from awesome to miserable with almost schizophrenic expectations. one day hitting your sales quota was the most important thing, then you accomplish that, but you find yourself under scrutiny because NOW all of a sudden the most important thing actually is meeting KPI's that didnt exist yesterday, but then number of calls is the end all be all, until it isnt and now actually sales force activities is the more important KPI... & on & on it goes. ultimately despite meeting or exceeding my territory sales quota every quarter, i got fired because all of a sudden the KPI metric for number of outgoing dials became the most important measurement of success, and over a single quarter i missed that number.. so they canned me. heard from friends still working there that my territory absolutely crashed in sales over the next several quarters after letting me go ...and now that very same metric is not nearly so strictly enforced. so what was the point in firing me...
