Potential to be great company but underwhelming critical thinking at leadership level
Pros
Competitive pay and benefits package. Very solid company in terms of financially viability and job security if you want to be a lifer. Strong cash flows from legacy businesses to fund new growth so has the capability to be truly global player. Pockets of talented and hard working people at the lower - mid management level.
Cons
Home grown Hartsville upper leadership with limited thinking, risk averse culture, slow to move or recognize new possibilities outside their core. Ranks high on diversity and sustainability metrics but upon closer look, this is mostly box checking with little meaningful actions. Consumer packaging businesses still acting independently, no formal mechanism for cross divisional learning and sharing to grow large accounts.
