Pros
In general, they treat employees well. Flexible for work schedule/location. Solid benefits. Office celebrations are fun. And the work is always challenging, with opportunities for collaboration.
Cons
Senior leadership is out of touch with workers, providing limited vision, while making uninformed decisions. There is a "hero" culture in place, where people are rewarded for making big expensive things without necessarily demonstrating value. Many managers aren't trained in people management, but instead want to play around in the engineering decisions. This makes the engineer roles less meaningful, while poorly helping career and organizational effectiveness.
