      Average performance is rewarded more highly than intelligence and leadership. Poor communication from management.

      Pros

      Lot is kept clean. Extra time off at holidays (depending upon that year's calendar). Some terrific people. Yes, there are screenings as long as you can figure out where to find the schedule on the Intranet and can made sense of the hurdles required to score tickets.

      Cons

      *Even at Director level, no authority to hire/fire, recommend raises or authorize expenditure for a post-it note. *"Green" buildings are poorly designed and somewhat ridiculous: horrible faucets, no privacy, unusable space in cubicles, etc. *Impossible to find basic info on Intranet. *IT outsourcing isn't working; contractors and new staff don't know the systems or businesses they're supporting. *No word to Sony employees about the customer hacking scandal until weeks after it had been reported in the press.
