Mostly software management and testing. If not in good project you may be moved from one domain to another with no time for expertise in any.

1. Some projects are interesting and possess good development work. 2. Flexible working hours and minimal micro-management. Good work-life balance. 3. Onsite opportunities to Japan and other places. 4. Good working environment.

Cons

1. Not so good salary package for experienced people. Employee retention policy is not good. 2. Many projects are testing and maintenance. Routine work. 3. Performance hike/bonus for good performers is below par.

I have not seen any PROS.... While leaving SONY employees get screwed.... Some says leaving SONY is almost dying !!!!!!!!!!! I faced lot of problems... For some employees who work in core technology areas they feed drugs indirectly and do negative counselling... They screw exiting employees mind like hell. Worst place to work I have ever seen.....wewe
