Pros

You get to see great shows Staff are fun, helpful, hard working people

Cons

If you are a grown up who has bills to pay, this place will be a waste of your time as a bartender or server. They are insanely over staffed. As a server, I was usually given 20 seats or less to take care of. As a seasoned server, I could easily take care of 60 + customers in 3 hours. Yet this place seems to underestimate all of their servers. With no turn over - you aren't going to even get a chance to make money off of 20 seats. Sure, they add 18% autograt to checks. after you tip out 30% (and the people that get that 30% DO deserve it) and are taxed another 20%, you are left with half of what you actually made. So the two shifts that I worked last week when I made around a hundred dollars in tips ( again, I could have made more if given an actual chance ) means that I made around $50 plus pay. So basically I was making less money than I did watressing 30 years ago. They also don't have enough equipment for everyone. the last time I was there, I was given a 22 person section, but no hand held device. If I had a hand held device, I could have worked the crowd that was standing and maybe had a CHANCE to make money- but they didn't even give me that. They are severely over staffed, but God forbid you sit somewhere, or are on your phone because you literally have NOTHING to do. And then there are the shift meetings that sometimes began with the phrase "Gather around children." Not only am I not a child, I'm actually considerably older than the person saying this phrase. Less staff, and less condescending talk is what is needed here. Apparently this used to be a GREAT place to work. It wasn't the worst, but the managers, who claim to have been servers in the past - have forgotten that people are there trying to pay their bills and make a living. Great job of you don't have actual bills to pay. But if you're trying to keep a roof over your head and food in your stomach, not-so-much. Don't be fooled like I was by the 18% gratuity.
