Pros

- Free access to ARTS - Work from home

Cons

Poor management and lack of career development opportunities. Things are even getting worse after some EX-BIG -TECH-COMPANIES joined. Those insecure EX-whatever were bringing micro-management and data-first bureaucracy to the red tape already Sotheby's culture.

Pros

Good for a couple years of salary fighting dysfunction Lots of smart people

Cons

No long term vision. Company is over 200 years old and they only barely know what they want to do in the next year. Way too focused on trimming costs instead of innovating Lots of very smart people but they are always leaving because they're overqualified for what the company uses their time doing The biggest problem you'll face is just the organization itself

Pros

Mostly the art. There are some good people.

Cons

Toxic environment, toxic people. C-suite does not value people. They only care about perception and IG likes.
