You will learn a lot You will get to work with smart people

No real growth opportunities. Salary is below market. No 401 Match or bonus No recognition or appreciation for hard work Management does not have a clear roadmap, in terms of both team-wise and company-wise Upper management has recently requested each employee to submit their hours, what they work on (Yes, full-time employees). This shows me either lack of trust to employees or lack of management planning. Long time employees continue to leave despite IPO announcement. If you are a new grad looking for gaining experience, go for it. If you are a senior professional, then SoundHound does not have much to offer to you. When I started couple years ago things were really different, very positive. Especially after Covid a lot of things have changed sadly negatively.

I was laid off after 90 days. What stings the most is the CRO posting about great earnings while laying off people after just starting their jobs.

Near-complete lack of ability to provide input into company direction, unless you are one of the few blessed by leadership.
