Business Outlook
Pros
1- casual and laid-back environment with no dress code. 2- flexible working hours. 3- almost everyone is friendly and helpful. 4- free fruits and snacks. 5- the work is pretty challenging with a steep learning curve. i learned a lot in just one year in terms of technical skills and retail business knowledge.
Cons
1- salaries could be better. 2- can be pretty chaotic at times with no well-defined rules for most processes. to their credit though, they realize this problem and are working to address it. 3- lack of proper communication between tech teams which sometimes results in conflicting work. 4- lack of documentation of code and business processes which makes it very hard for new hires to learn how and why things are done.
