Pros

Fantastic coworkers and the opportunity to get your foot in the door or earn some experience in publishing

Cons

Toxic "growth mindset" weaponized against employees, lack of opportunities for actual growth throughout the company, complete lack of allowance for work-life balance.

Pros

Albeit, I can only speak about the Production/Editorial experience at Sourcebooks, but I am very happy here. The people I work with every day are very organized, great communicators, friendly, helpful, and genuinely passionate about the books that they work on. The company values hard work, good senses of humor, and the opinions of its employees. I would recommend this job to a friend.

Cons

I honestly don't have any cons to share! Genuinely happy to be here.
