employee owned; do a lot for their employees in the way of rewards;
Cons
Southco uses people. If you aren't "one of the click" you will never survive. Management is all men. There are 34 salaried supervisors and managers and only one is a woman. Even from this man's point of view, you can see it. It's an "old boys world". So many have been there 20 - 30 yrs that a newby will never fit in. Even though I was there for many years, I was never one of them. The managers don't develop their people at all. Not one of them that I saw.
