Pros

High character, quality oriented organization that is about doing things right.

Cons

Some old school habits promoting those who have been around just because they are around still.

Pros

The company culture is pretty friendly, and job security is pretty much assured. It is a utility, so revenues are pretty much guaranteed. There is very little job pressure. I saw people taking naps in the afternoon at the desks. The benefits are good.

Cons

There is a very conservative culture. Any efforts to change how business is done is met with suspicion and resistance. Don't expect to join the company and make big waves. This is a place for low stress work, and no consequences for lack of effort.
