Opportunity for growth, Friendly atmosphere, Competitive benefit and compensation, Leading edge of industry Southern Nuclear, under Southern Company has been the best career choice I have ever made. I have been able to work my way up from the bottom with great mentoring and encouragement from my supervisors. If you have the drive, ambition, and aptitude they will help you succeed.

Plant Vogtle is in Waynesboro, GA, it is about an hour drive from the more affluent areas of Augusta.

Cons

Slow moving. Corporate politics can stifle progress and creativity. Many have become complacent, lack motivation.
