Great culture and benefits, but management struggles with growth

Good company, good culture. great benefits. Very family friendly. Collaborative and innovative.

Cons

Growth is creating pockets of the company that absolutely do not share the culture of the whole. Grafted-in managers and recent promotions are very unskilled managers and do not maintain the culture of collaboration and learning that the company as a whole promotes.

Pros

The safety team feels like a big family and does a great job taking care of the workforce. They are supportive, approachable, and always willing to help. The office safety administrators are also great to work with and maintain a positive attitude. Compared to other companies, this company truly seems to care about safety and the people in the field. The safety incentive program for the workforce is also a great benefit. Safety Coordinators are provided with a work truck and gas card, which is a major plus. There are also plenty of overtime opportunities for those who want to put in extra hours. Safety Director is very approachable as well.

Cons

Some senior safety managers could provide better support, guidance, and professional development opportunities. At times, there seems to be favoritism, and not everyone is given the same opportunity to grow or advance.

Great GM, Great Directors, Great coworkers

Cons

The Office Manager speaks down to employees who are not Directors or above. She is very demeaning and always off-putting to others when GM or Directors are not around. Throws around her title as justification for her actions, and HR has been made aware of this on numerous occasions, but nothing has been done to rectify the situation. She has gone through numerous employees in her time with the company due to her ineffectiveness and speaking down to the regular, everyday employees. Several employees do everything they can to avoid any contact with her.
