Thank you for sharing your feedback. I completely agree -- Sovos has great people! As we continue to grow to Solve Tax for Good everywhere companies do business, it creates even more opportunity for those people to travel, learn & grow in their careers. It is true that growth also necessitates changes. With recent acquisition news, we know those changes will continue, and they’ll lead to even more opportunities for our employees. We appreciate your taking the time to leave your comments, and we’re happy to have been a part of your career journey. Good luck in your next role! Thanks, Laura Handler

Thanks for taking the time to provide your feedback about your experience at Sovos. We appreciate your recognizing the great people here and the fast growth we’re experiencing. While our offices can have different opportunities due to size or location, as we continue to grow, remote collaboration between sites and teams is becoming more of the norm. Regardless of which Sovos office they work in, all team members are encouraged to speak to their managers or local HR teams about their opportunities for career growth. We have also implemented new training offerings for managers, so they’ll have all the tools and resources to be great leaders. Again, thanks for your feedback, and we wish you luck on the next step in your career.

Thanks for taking the time to provide your feedback. Business development is a role that can fall under either marketing or sales, and you’ll find it in different spots at different companies. We opt to have it within our marketing structure and view it as a critical connection between marketing and sales. For those business development representatives who go on to careers in marketing, it’s a foundation for understanding the needs of sales teams; for those who ultimately move to sales, it’s a chance to learn how marketing generates leads that ultimately get qualified for AEs. Our recruiting team aims to paint an accurate picture of every role we advertise and interview for, and we’re sorry if you didn’t get a clear understanding of this one. Hiring for business development is a priority at Sovos, as this is one of the largest contributors to internal promotions, and we’ll take your input back to our interview teams. Thanks again for your feedback. We wish you well in the next step in your career.
