      Pros

      Phenomenal objective and product. Very exciting endeavor. Seems like "Technology Disneyland" ... at first ....

      Cons

      "Sell your Soul" should be a phrase in their Employment Offer Letter. They brow-beat Anyone [in Operations] who isn't willing to sacrifice Every Other aspect of their lives, to work at SpaceX. Sad part is, all of the ingredients are there to make it a STELLAR place to work; but, they have no interest in constructive input from Operations [drones], regardless of their previous experience. They do NOT treat employees "like the Best", despite [seeking only] the Best. C'mon, people out there value Free Lattes as a Rewarding Place to Work ... REALLY ?! Too many [apparently] have a serious Lack of Priorities in their lives. Say No to family. Say No to kids. Say No to Hobbies / outside interests. Say No to your Health / Well-Being ....

      Pros

      You get to have your hands on a rocket or spacecraft every day. That fact alone makes the job worth it. It's a fast paced environment and I would say about 85-90% of the employees are top of their field/highly driven individuals. After all my years in the military this is a very rewarding job.

      Cons

      Work-Life balance, there is none. At all. They do tell you this before you're hired on though so if you're not prepared for it you didn't pay attention. The down side to pretty much devoting your life to Space-X is that the pay is average-below average. I see a lot of Tech's/Engineers jumping ship for higher paying/less demanding jobs after SpaceX runs them into the ground.

      Pros

      The overtime is really nice on the paycheck. Cool and challenging projects to work on that push your abilities as a technician.

      Cons

      Time away from family is bad. There is terrible management here and safety is not a main concern for employees.
