Pros
Fast pace projects and short development cycles allow for quick growth and experience. You get to quickly try out your ideas and find out if they work or not. Designing reusable is a problem no one has solved fully yet. As a result, management encourages out of the box thinking and calculated design risks to meet this ambitious goal. Incredible amount of responsibility given to entry level engineers.
Cons
Expectations are incredibly high for all the engineering staff at SpaceX. To meet quality and throughput expectations requires a lot of hours.
