      Fast and Engaging

      Pros

      The work is very fast paced and always engaging. You get a lot of autonomy working at SpaceX, and everybody is very intelligent. Overall, it's very easy to settle in to the work environment and the hard work ethic of the people around you really rubs off on you.

      Cons

      It can get a little overwhelming if you have trouble with time management or can't keep up with the rate at which work builds up, especially near deadlines.

      Pros

      More responsibility given than at other typical aerospace companies. Everyone you work with is very smart and capable Very good job for people straight out of college

      Cons

      Not many senior engineers to learn from. Often must reinvent the wheel. Very long hours and unrealistic schedules drive stress Not good for mid career employees.

      Pros

      Fast pace projects and short development cycles allow for quick growth and experience. You get to quickly try out your ideas and find out if they work or not. Designing reusable is a problem no one has solved fully yet. As a result, management encourages out of the box thinking and calculated design risks to meet this ambitious goal. Incredible amount of responsibility given to entry level engineers.

      Cons

      Expectations are incredibly high for all the engineering staff at SpaceX. To meet quality and throughput expectations requires a lot of hours.
