Has US based support projects, so major work comes to offshore. Good for associate consultants. Gives time to learn and explore. No issues if resource is on bench for any period of time. Flexible timings and casual dressing. Work from home. Just finish your work/deliverable and rest you can enjoy. Management will listen to you.
Cons
You can be forgotten that you are on bench for the last 2 years. Your skillset is not appreciated. What matters is any opportunity. Management will listen to you but not implement or think on any points offered. Playing favorites for projects, visas,positions. Family culture and groupism. Pathetic pay on H1B. Most consultants if they get the visa leave for better pay as soon as they land. Though they file visa for many consultants only the favorites or family members or those who are client critical get visas. Hike and employee morale is absent. When you finally resign they use visas and onsite to stop you, if they want to stop you.
