Pros
I was brought in for a tour to see what would interest me the most. Based on my skillset and what I thought would be interesting to learn more about, I was paired with my current position. My manager and the vise president of extrusion at the Sandy, Utah location are very willing to teach and bring experience to everyone that is willing to learn.
Cons
There is a lack of foundation in regards to process controls, so much of it is in development and based on a trial and errors basis. The site is striving to create a strong process, but struggling to implement as majority of members have research and design experience versus manufacturing process experience.
