      DuPont’s new dictator role at Spectrum Plastics

      Pros

      Good benefits, nice break room area, no charge free parking lot, accommodating to employees work schedules.

      Cons

      DuPont enforces heavy workload in January of 2025 from the few employees that remain, which includes running 2 and sometimes 3 presses when working 2nd/3rd shift. Required deep cleaning with some leaking oil on floor, requiring stepping around airhoses, electrical cords. $90.00 annual bonus for 2024 and no annual raise to cover inflation/ cost of living increase in January of 2025. Cameras recently installed to monitor employees at break and at their work station. A very hostile working environment to be in.

      Pros

      growing company with opportunities to grow with it. a lot of really nice employees from top to bottom.

      Cons

      Very disorganized. Half of leadership just wants to be lazy which makes improvements very difficult.

      Except during the pandemic, they always make payroll.

      During the pandemic, salaried employees were expected to take time off without pay (could not use vacation time)
