Pros

Stable employment, decent pay, nice coworkers.

Cons

Unorganized management, deceitful in some cases with not informing employees of a cap on initial commissions as a new hire. Micro management in terms of stressing on a bunch of KPIs even though overall sales are good.

Pros

You can make a lot of money and work Monday - Friday. Incentives can be lucrative.

Cons

Horrible upper management with little to no experience in leading people. Every meeting turned into a job threat. Leadership "bended" the rules when it was in their favor. As someone who worked in several departments over the years with outstanding leadership, it was very disappointing to work for the business department and their lack of integrity and inclusion. Training was always an email from the training manager with no follow up, another missed opportunity.

Pros

Good money if you had years of tenure before. Benefits are excellent.

Cons

Management is pathetic. They create pressure situations that are unneeded to break your spirit. If you make more then the supervisors, they create a scenario with lies to get you fired, even if you are a loyal employee. Was top performer consistently and got a bonus right after i was told i was probably going to lose my job, which makes a lot of sense,,,, Supervisors and managers have it out for you if you do your job too well. Other supervisors start listening to your calls when you are a top performer, they claim it is to help their team, but it is really to try to catch you in some way. They want you to have integrity as an employee, but they company lacks it in spades. If you forget to activate a free mobile, whether the customer agrees to it or not, rather than call you to confirm or cancel the order, they have your card on file and are hoping you dont notice that you start getting billed for it after the free period, when they should be cancelling all non activated lines automatically, including the billing. They want you to drag calls out when it is not needed, Want you to create a roadblock to cancellation and upsell, yet they know sales reps are constantly adding services and if you are set up for autopay, they hope you won't notice and start billing you for things your didn't want or agree to. They also get customers to billing rather than retention first in many cases and the reps are told to tell them they can't lower their rate when they can if they get to the right department. They ding the billing reps for transferring calls to retention. This has been going on for years and they still haven't fixed it and if you complain to management, nothing gets done. They also have inconsistent software programs that often lag or error out, sometimes having to keep customers on the phone for well over an hour. Most companies have consistent pricing but the pricing here is all over the place, and depending on your area.
