Pros

Good benefits and pay Free (or close to free) cable and internet Good people to work with; supportive local management

Cons

No flexible work options (remote/hybrid options do not exist) despite the fact that being in an office for many positions is not necessary and that we employees have all of the technology needed to work remotely. My job is in Charlotte, but I support a team in Austin, TX that I have never met or seen in person. I am forced to sit in a cube all day with little to no interaction with others, which is ridiculous. Why do I have to be in the office again? Stamford corporate C-suite execs are tone deaf to employees’ needs and do not care about work-life balance. Employee surveys are a waste of time because executive leadership does not care about how we feel and does not institute any of our suggestions for improvement. Antiquated, very strict dress code for modern times.

Pros

A paycheck and ok benefits.

Cons

Culture is toxic, leadership is not employee friendly. Do not care about employees or their concerns. Google Spectrum / Covid to find out how this company handle the pandemic. No work flexibility, have to use PTO days for snow. HR will not take employee concerns serious and will always make excuses and do what Leadership wants. When employees send mass e-mails to company/leadership and complain about equality you have a serious problem. The company/PR/HR/leadership are dishonest and will always paint a better picture. Constant revolving door of employees.

Thank you for your review. We appreciate your concerns as we work together through these unprecedented times. To that end, we recently made a number of changes to our operations that will help our employees better manage through this challenging time. These include an additional 15 days of paid time off to be used for any COVID-19 related personal need, increased social distancing plans in all of our call centers and operations facilities, and the option for remote work for employees whose jobs allow them to work outside the office without endangering our obligation to provide critical services. We thank you for all you are doing every day to support our customers and communities to ensure they remain both connected and safe.

Pros

Good health insurance if single, matching 401k, free internet

Cons

Company could care less about employees during Covid, and frankly never cared during poor weather either. It clearly says in our state that employees who are able to work remote that employers should allow them to do so to their greatest extent. We all have the equipment but are not allowed to. WE SELL ADVERTISING IN OUR BRANCH, THAT IS NOT ESSENTIAL. Just shows they care most about profit. Some people tell me to be happy I have a job, but what if I get sick or pass the virus on to a loved one? Cool, we get 3 weeks of Covid time, that's really not helpful considering since testing is so hard to get, you might be using it for time off in isolation over a cold and then ACTUALLY get it after using the time.
