Pros

Great earnings potential. A fellow in the district near our offices makes 30K per month! Good benifits!

Cons

It takes a lot of guts to keep knocking on people's doors...

Pros

Charter is a company continually on the move to remain relevant and competitive in the cable service industry. Charter continually adjusts their business practice to achieve maximum market share and financial superiority. Staff receives excellent training and support to be the best at their job and the compensation is above average along with the benefit offering. Leadership remains in touch and in contact with the staff. Caching is provided at all levels and goals and expectations are fair and met easily with dedicated effort. Upward mobility is always available but there is a lot of other dedicated capable staff to compete for open positions. Promotion decisions are fair and the parties not selected are provide with feedback to advance in the next selection process.

Cons

Very large corporate structure so many low level employees in front offices, contact centers and field positions sometimes feel disenfranchised from the larger corporate environment. About the 70% of staff members feel entitled and do not give their best each day and complaining non-ending about the company. They take no personal responsibility for their own failures or failure to advance. Like other companies Executive leadership is top notch and from the VP to Director level most are very competent. Once you get to manager and supervisor levels it is hit or miss on their style. The company does a great job in leadership training but you still have some rock stars and some incompetent failures at this level.
