Pros

They pay a living wage and have wonderful discounts on services if they service your area.

Cons

I was hired on in the Vancouver, WA facility as a billing representative. The interview process was great, informed me of everything I needed to know about what kind of schedule I would be working. In my last week of training (we had already been on the phone for 2 weeks), I received a phone call that my father had been rushed to the hospital and that he didn't have much longer. Since he had no other family, it was up to me alone to make any medical decisions. I informed Human Resources of my situation. Said I loved my job and that I did not want to do anything to jeopardize it. They told me "You are doing a great job, you're learning quickly. Just keep us informed of what is going on and we can work with you." When I expressed concern again about losing my job due to having to deal with what was going on with my father I was told by 2 separate supervisors that a couple people had missed a full week of work and all they did was keep her in training an extra week. So my worries eased. Then, on October 3rd, the day before my "graduation", I was informed that I needed to sign paperwork and move my father into Hospice. I missed half a day to do so, but not without informing management that I would be. Again, I was told, that they would work with me as long as I kept them updated. The next day, when I returned to work, I was promptly fired. The reason given: "It's just not working out." I asked for a more detailed explanation, but was given the same answer, "It's just not working out." When I tried to file for unemployment, they reasons they gave were: inappropriate behavior, insubordination, and missing time. My father passed away 9 days later. The company is a horrible company to work for is you have or care about your family. STAY AWAY!!

Pros

- Holdovers from before buyout tend to be professional, hardworking, passionate (also some of the new hires); great people to learn from and many just great people in general; when I was here it was the people who really made this job special - generally try to promote from within - free cable - nice office

Cons

- when i left in 2011, morale was steadily dropping as TWC corporate culture strangled much of the unique, fun spirit Adlink the private company once enjoyed - smaller office so not a ton of opportunities for advancement
