You'll go broke using your own car, too many additional/mandatory responsibilities that aren't sales related, "turf" distributed that has been "worked" the week before, supervisors in place that weren't successful doing the job, they'll "take" sales from you for one reason or another, salary too low, commissions too low, "churn & burn" ya, unreasonable quotas - they don't account for vacation/off days, policies change with no notice(TWC="Things Will Change").

Your commissions do not get paid until the month after they get installed, which is typical in telecom. The issues arise when there is an issue with construction, delayed ports, or any other problem that may arise because 6 people touch a single order, and your install doesn't happen until 2-4 months after it is sold (if at all because the customer is frustrated with delays).
