      Pros

      Some of your coworkers can be nice, but overall is backstabbing, political, minefield. There is some balance in life even though the workload is high.

      Cons

      Salary for typical director is $150k with 50% bonus - on your back. Some get small 10%, others get no bonus. If you like working hard and solving problems, but rewards are very regressive, then sign up.

      Great coworkers, decent money, pretty good conditions

      Cons

      The Big Lie - I was hired to work in tech support and discovered that over 70% of my performance evaluation was based entirely on how well I attempted to upsell additional products during support calls. Scheduling is absolutely awful in all phases - often the lowest census would be during the busiest times, and conversely the highest census would be when the phones weren't ringing at all. Forget ever having consecutive days off, or ever taking a sick or vacation day - "We're understaffed - we need you to come in" is a constant refrain when those are requested. Quite frankly, I'd rather live in a cardboard box than work there again.

      Pros

      My team is very respectful of my talents, time, and contributions. This is not reflected in all departments or teams, so I am very lucky.

      Cons

      I don't agree with executive leadership's decisions currently. They are reducing headcount of engineers, sales, and specialists, while retaining unnecessary leadership. This is explained away by suggesting that our stock value is down and profits are decreasing... all in the wake of our CEO receiving a unfathomably gigantic compensation increase. ($15.6 million to $89 million).
