Pros

Compared to industry standard pay its slightly good

Cons

No work life balance No promotions for deserved Promotions are given only based on seniority Leadership (Vp’s) don't understand importance of individual goals Non technical people getting subordinated from technical background Some VP’s and above promote only white people even though they don’t deserve Too much involvement of product team into technical things and give stupid ideas Technical teams won’t get fund to maintain their applications annually which causes pain in a** when they have to do it

Pros

An incredibly easy and non challenging place for software engineers to work and get paid.

Cons

Spectrum is a legacy company with old values, old leadership, and old ideals. They are by no means a tech company and the only reason they are still around is because they are essentially a monopoly in areas they cover.
