Pros

Very technically challenging - I am a seasoned UNIX guy and this environment has stretched me in many ways, mostly good. If you like troubleshooting complex technical issues then you'll enjoy this role. Great team - Management encourages team work and it pays off Benefits are very generous - Health, vacation, education - all of them were very generous Salary - Very fair compensation, which includes bonuses Work/Life Balance - reasonable hours per week; but rigid as to the time

Cons

Shift work - must be in at a certain time and leave at a certain time Break/Fix - Ticketing system can be challenging Management - some managers are very detail oriented which can get old Work/Life Balance - reasonable hours per week; but rigid as to the time
