Pros
Small team mindset. You get to know everyone. The managers- they genuinely care and work alongside us. They know about my kids and hobbies. Best bosses I’ve ever had. The compensation- I have never made as much money as a processor outside of the refi boom. 100% remote work and they let me clock out each day to pick up my kids and start early on their minimum days.
Cons
A lot of phone calls- I make 20 calls a day when I really need to make 5 to move my pipeline. Our team doesn’t hit our goals even though I know we all work hard. The goals are too high. Underwriting- I have to obtain 6 things to clear one condition. Half the underwriters are so cool and good at what they do and half of them are hard to work with and over condition like crazy. I waste a lot of time fighting for my files that shouldn’t need any fight.
