Pros
Splunk is great. I like the startup vibe with the stability of a large longstanding company. Great people and great leadership. Also, a great reputation in the market especially since the Cisco acquisition. Also really great culture, work life balance and benefits. Great SKO event annually in Vegas. They have a lot of opportunities for new roles internally.
Cons
Splunk has changed a bit and is in flux due to the Cisco acquisition. Promotions and bonuses have halted and are in limbo which is not great for growth. Working for a company this large can be frustrating and hard to get things done. There is also a lot of different technologies and capabilities to learn and it is hard to go deep/expert level on all of them.
