The facilities team was dysfunctional in their office practices. They were not supportive or lead by example when it came to the security policies especially when it came to Covid policies. It felt like their was diversity ideology conflict as I was of Hispanic heritage and had the sense that I was an "invader" instead of part of a team. Their training/coaching was conflictive to company security policies and procedures I was first taught and read in training. I noticed they were actively cutting corners in security badging. I was not permitted to set up the desk in an ergonomic fashion. Meetings were rushed and awkward as it seemed to be an annoyance to the facilities manager. This all made my learning of the job duties I was to fulfill, difficult, stressful and very uncomfortable.
