Pros

Benefits are great Salary is negotiable but typically offers a lower rate. Ask for the compensation you want upfront. Stock options and the bonus is a plus. The co-workers around you are among the brightest The problems you encounter are so varied you will never get bored.

Cons

Lots of internal organizational changes cause useless stress. work-life balance is practically non-existent Training is limited - you will use your free time to learn, grow, and succeed in the job The company culture has changed (got corporate) as it grew.

Pros

The training at Splunk is extensive, and the pay is decent. There are a lot of very talented people that work at Splunk. The products are a bit complicated, however, they are great products.

Cons

I’ve been approached for better pay compensation, but if you’re in sales, it’s better to have a great product to ensure sales.
