Pros

Pay, products are solid and good client base. Stock used to be good but is very seldom provided.

Cons

The management team from top to bottom is poor. Rampant favoritism, nepotism and incompetence as it relates to running the sales operation.

Pros

- Generous time-off and company holidays (~30 days off for US employees split 50/50 between PTO and company holidays) + sick time - Fun culture - Free lunch twice a week - Excellent computers and hardware (you'll have everything you need) - CEO is easily reachable (you can literally just message him) - Constant requests for employee feedback

Cons

- Splunk is a mid-size company trying to be a large company who also wants a startup culture which is near-impossible to accomplish and can lead to some people getting the wrong idea - Some new employees have to be hourly employees before they can be salaried

Pros

Work hard. Play Hard environment. Good pay, bonus, and other compensation. Supportive HR. Strong open company culture. Customer success is #1 priority. Customer LOVE Splunk, both the product & the people. Never the same thing twice. Always new challenges and new learning. Feels like a huge family who love each other, the product, the partners, and the customers.

Cons

Getting to be a huge company, so naturally there are layers of management and separation of teams and department and, therefore, effective communication is struggling to improve. Many new roles and functions that are still working out operational kinks. SaaS and Product offerings are not moving as fast to keep up with demand.
