Pros

Money, percs, food, liquor, and the original Splunkers the few that remained and actually still work were pretty cool.

Cons

Politics, mediocre management, politics, people fighting in meeting, politics, bad PM, big egos with low talent, half the people don't work are drunk most of the time and are just vesting into retirement. It's a sinking ship.

Pros

The most talented education team I ever worked with (30+ years in hi-tech). Love the product and the entrepreneurial spirit of the company, when I first joined.

Cons

I worked from home due to a lack of space, so I did not not SEE things. However, when I left, in late fall 2016, I noticed that the corporate culture was changing, as I suppose it must. There seemed to be more silos and the company was more corporate. Also, a tendency to hire those you know, which can be good, made for a less diverse team that one would hope for, especially in education. A significant lack of female trainers and trainers of color.

Pros

Very inclusive environment, with everyone being on the same journey. Leadership is strong and has a clear path on how we are going to achieve our goals. Success is celebrated and enjoyed. A lot is done in the office in London to ensure that everyone enjoys working at Splunk - so it is not just about the sales people.

Cons

It's not exactly a downside, but the pace the company is moving at is FAST. Change is the one constant in Splunk - so a lot is always needing to be done. You need to keep up!
