      Great in SF, less so in Seattle

      Pros

      They take the time to hire great people, have an awesome product, great benefits and an engaged and happy community.

      Cons

      Working in SF is great. Working in Seattle is more challenging. Splunk doesn't handle remote working well.

      - A fun and lovely motivated team in EMEA that treat each other like family - Yearly trips to Splunk's headquarters in SF - Loads of social events! - Selling a product that everyone believes in

      - No real learning and development for non-sales staff

      Things are moving fast, and the company is making inroads in to almost everyone of the top 100: with growth likely to continue for a long time.

      Cons

      Some people are wedded to keeping the status quo while others are driving change at a blistering pace, sometimes this leads to conflict about features for each release and can cause a lot of back and forth before feature lock in.
